Реферат:
High-loaded nickel catalysts (HLNC) modified with tin were synthesized and evaluated for the dehydrogenation of methylcyclohexane (MCH), which serves as a liquid organic hydrogen carrier. By optimizing the catalyst composition and reduction temperature, a dehydrogenation selectivity of >99.0% was achieved at a MCH conversion rate of 92% and a WHSV of 6.0 h¹. The stability of the Sn-modified HLNC was confirmed through a long-term (100-hour) catalyst test. The genesis of the HLNC during Sn modification and reductive activation in hydrogen was investigated. It was found that activation at temperatures above 450°C resulted in a uniform distribution of Sn, primarily forming solid NiSn solutions with a crystal lattice similar to metallic nickel. The formation of these solid solutions decreased the adsorptive properties related to the reaction product, toluene, which consequently enhanced the selectivity of MCH dehydrogenation.
