Abstract: The present paper describes a study of the EPR spectra of radical character produced in the reaction of piperidine and cyclohexylamine (CHA) with Cu(II) bis(salicylaldehydate) (Cu-(salald)2). Stable radicals are formed as a result of the reaction of atmospheric oxygen and the products of the reaction of the organic base and the ligand of the complex.
