Abstract: The possibility of formation and experimental detection of ordered structures of Cu2+ ions in aqueous ammonia solutions of copper nitrate, which are often precursors for preparation of copper containing catalysts, has not been explored so far. In this work, selfassociation of Cu2+ ions in aqueous ammonia solutions of copper nitrate was revealed for the first time.
