Abstract: The structure of sulfate–phosphate glasses is investigated by high-resolution 31P solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance with magic-angle sample spinning (31P MAS NMR spectroscopy). The structure parameters that account for the number of different types of phosphorus–oxygen structural units involved in the glass network are determined, and the main structural units of the glasses under investigation are revealed. The role of H2O and Na2SO4 as modifiers of the structural network of sulfate–phosphate glasses is clarified.
