Abstract: The use of complex bi-layered oxide supports, in which the structure and size of the support and supported vanadium clusters are variable, opens up great opportunities for varying the properties of supported vanadium oxide catalysts. In this work, a detailed study of surface vanadium centers in VOx/Al2O3/SiO2 catalysts is carried out using a multinuclear ( 29Si, 1H, 27Al, 51V) multiple magnetic field (9 and 21 T) NMR and combined with first principles calculation
