Abstract: The nanocomposite catalysts comprised of Ni particles, complex fluorite or perovskite oxides and precious metals were prepared using polymerized polyester precursor (Pechini) route and successive impregnation procedures including those using a Hamilton Microlab robotic workstation. Procedures for supporting thin layers of nanocomposite active components on different substrates were developed. This work presents results of research aimed at design of such catalysts and characterization of their performance parameters in steam reforming of methane and biofuels at lab-scale and pilot-scale levels.
