Abstract: Preparation methods for size selective synthesis of supported rhodium nanoparticles were developed. It was shown that the nature of rhodium precursors, calcination temperature and support modification may significantly effect on the sizes of rhodium nanoparticles. All supported rhodium catalysts are very active in heterogeneous hydrogenation of unsaturated gaseous compounds and lead to formation of strong polarization when parahydrogen was used.
