Abstract:
The performance of a capillary microreactor coated with mesoporous Pd/(Ti,Ce)O2 and Pd80 Zn20/(Ti, Ce)O2 thin films has been tested in the selective hydrogenation of alkyne alcohol. Catalytic coatings were prepared by dip-coating method of the inner wall of a fused silica capillary with an internal diameter of 250 µm using nanoparticles-based precursor solution. The capillary microreactors were tested in the hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butyne-2-ol (0.05-0.3M solution with methanol as a solvent) in 313-323 К temperature range and at the hydrogen partial pressure ranging from 0.3 to 1.0. The highest selectivity of 94% to 2-methyl-3-butene-2-ol was obtained at 99.8% conversion on the Pd80Zn20/(Ti,Ce)O2 coating
