Abstract: The plasma-arc method was applied to synthesize the PdCeC and PdCeSnC composites which can be effectively used as precursors for preparation of Pd/СeO2 and Pd/СeO2-SnO2 catalysts with high activity in CO oxidation reaction. The obtained Pd-ceria based catalysts modified with tin represent a very promising catalytic system, which has a unique combination of high thermal stability and activity in CO oxidation starting at low temperatures.
