Abstract: The present paper is devoted to the synthesis and characterization of Au and AuPd cores based NRs with different shells (ZrO2, ZrO2 doped with ceria, Fe2O3, SiO2, CeO2 and alumina). Obtained nanoreactors were tested in the catalytic reduction of toxic nitrophenols. It was revealed effect both nuclei and shells on the mechanism of the reaction.
