Abstract: The combustion of associated petroleum gas (APG) leads to a deterioration of the environmental conditions in the oilfield areas and significant economic losses. The development of the technology of oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane (ODE) as a component of APG will produce ethylene - the most large-tonnage petrochemical product and also will promote resource and energy saving. Currently mixed oxide MoVTeNb compositions are the most effective in ODE (Cavani et al., 2007). The goal of this work is to study the effect of Mn, Ga, Ge and Nd additives on the physicochemical and catalytic properties of MoVTeNbO catalyst in the reaction of oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane.
