NOx is removed from gases by redn. with NH3 in the presence of O, SO2, steam, and a catalyst at 200-350°. The efficiency is increased when the catalyst comprises 5-20 wt.% V2O5, 2-80 wt.% CaSO4 and/or Al2(SO4)3, and balance TiO2.
