English abstract: MeOH is produced from synthesis gas over heterogeneous Cu-contg. catalysts at elevated temps. and pressures. Productivity is increased, and consumption of raw materials and capital expenditures decreased, by switching addn. of synthesis gas at 40-170° to the catalyst bed from the input to the output every 1-30 min.
