English abstract: Desulfurizing the hydrocarbon feed is contacted with hydrodesulfurization catalyst in a hydrodesulfurization reaction zone to be operated under mild conditions the total feed to the first is accomplished by removing the labile organic sulfur compounds. Flash column processing downstream of the hydrodesulfurization reaction zone for the fractionation of the effluent from the target interception point temperature granulation to obtain a two hydrocarbon fuel fractions. The fraction boiling above a target temperature that block contains the remaining refractory organic sulfur compounds. The second fraction boiling at less than the target interception point temperature is because it is does not substantially contain an organic sulfur compound, for the organic sulfur compounds boiling in the fraction range is labile organic sulfur compounds that are initially removed by a mild hydrodesulfurization. The first fraction on the oxidation catalyst in the oxidation reaction zone a vapor phase catalytic having the formula Cu x Zn 1-x Al 2 O 4 in contact with the oxidizing agent gas is converted to refractory organic sulfur compounds to SO x and the low-sulfur hydrocarbon. SO x by-product is removed after, to produce a stream containing organic sulfur compounds in a reduced level.
