The invention relates to the field of petrochem., and specifically to a method for synthesizing high-octane oxygen-containing components of motor fuel. A method for producing high-octane component of motor fuels from olefin mixtures of catalytic cracking by oxidation of olefin mixture with nitrous oxide, followed by separation of product mixture as high-octane component, is developed. Other version of the method involves oxidation of olefin mixture with nitrous oxide in gas phase at the first stage and at the second stage - condensation of products obtained during the first stage, followed by separation of product mixture as high-octane component. Third version consists in oxidation of olefin mixture with nitrous oxide in gas phase at the first stage and at the second stage - condensation of products obtained during the first stage, followed by the third stage involving reaction of mixture from condensed oxygenates produced at the second stage, or mixture of carbonyl compounds produced at the first stage, with hydrogen in the presence of hydrogenation catalyst, followed by separation of mixture from hydrogenated products as high-octane component. The proposed method allows to produce ecol. clean high-octane additives with high-octane number.
