Abstract: Investigations of smooth deuterated carbon erosion films co-deposited from deuterium plasma discharges inside the tokamak T-10 vacuum chamber were carried out using UV–VIS and X-ray photoluminescence, UV reflection, EXAFS, EPR, and temperature measurements. The influence of defective states on photoluminescence and its temperature quenching are discussed.
