The carbon dioxide reforming of methane in a cell with a solid oxygen-conducting electrolyte: CH4+CO2,Pt|0.9ZrO2+0.1Y2O3|Pt+PrO2−x, air
has been studied. The effect of anodic current (or electrochemical oxygen pumping to the reaction zone) on the catalytic properties of the Pt electrode for CO2−CH4 reaction is discussed.
