Abstract:
The effect of the temperature conditions of methanol conversion to hydrocarbons on parameters of process and of catalyst regeneration was examined. As far as the maximum yield of liquid hydrocarbons with a maximum content of aromatics is concerned, a tubular or shelf reactor is more advantageous than an adiabatic one. The application of the two former reactors reduces the amount of coke deposited on the catalyst, the structure of the coke being less condensed. As the result, the duration of a regeneration cycle becomes shorter.
