Abstract:
Ultradisperse binary nickel-platinum and cobalt-platinum particles are obtained while studying the effect of the production conditions on particle composition and size. A hypothesis is offerred in regard to the mechanism of the particle-formation process, including the stage of formation of heteronuclear citrate complexes. Thermal decomposition of the latter precedes the formation of binary ultradisperse particles.
