Abstract:
Modification of the surface of a GaSb2.5Ni1.5PW0.25Ox catalyst by EtBr increased the yield and formation rate of acrylonitrile in the ammoxidation of propane. The modification accelerated the activation of propane (rate-detd. step) and the interaction of NH3 with surface allyl species and with acrolein.
