Abstract:
The title catalyst (IM-2201) was examined by IR spectroscopy of pyridine, PhCN and CDCl3 adsorbed on its surface, and by its activity in 1-butene isomerization and Me2CHCH2OH dehydration. Compared to aluminosilicate and γ-Al2O3 catalysts, IM-2201 has an insignificant no. of acidic sites and a high concentration of basic ones.
