Abstract:
Analysis of the nonaffineness of isotherms for chemisorption on various types of supported metal catalysts has been continued. It is concluded that of the two methods for determining the metal surface area - from the slope of the line of the comparison graph and from the point of maximum coverage of the surface - the latter is more nearly universal. In application to a broad circle of catalysts, it gives satisfactory results, so that it can be recommended for use in studying the dispersity of supported metals.
