Abstract:
Consideration is given to the effect of the structure of metal surfaces on the adsorption of oxygen and the interaction between O(ads) and CO(ads), the mechanism of adsorption of O2, and the mechanism of oxidation of CO, taking into account changes in the structure and chemical composition of the surface caused by the reaction medium.
