Abstract:
The study of the reaction kinetics of steam conversion of methane on a nickel wire and a GIAP-16 catalyst in the form of commercial pellets and 0.25- to 0.50-mm fraction granules was performed in a flow-circulating reactor under atmospheric pressure. The data for the GIAP-16-supported nickel catalyst provided the basis for the assumption that the process of steam conversion of methane proceeded on this catalyst through a homogeneous-heterogeneous mechanism.
