Abstract:
An analysis of scanning isotherms of the capillary-condensation hysteresis loop of adsorption isotherms has been carried out in the framework of the model of a porous body as a system of interconnected voids and necks of various size. Simple methods for calculating the distribution of a condensate and for evaluating the condensed-phase-gas interface for different modes and degrees of filling of the porous space, including methods which do not require tedious measurements of the scanning isotherms, are proposed.
