Abstract:
The reduction and reoxidation of individual heteropoly anions (HPA) PW12-nVnO40(3+n)- catalysts was studied for n = 1-4 under conditions of retention of the chemical and isomeric compositions. For reduced HPA that contain V(IV) it was shown that PW11V and PW10V2 are not oxidized by molecular oxygen and that the rate of oxidation of PW8V4 is considerably higher than the rate of oxidation of PW9V3 vis-a-vis the same degree of reduction of the HPA.
