Abstract:
In oxidative dehydrogenation of butenes and ethylbenzene over V-Mg catalysts, isolated octahedral and tetrahedral V complexes exhibited highest activity in exhaustive oxidation. Associated V complexes were the most active species in partial oxidation. The catalytic activity of Mg3(VO4)2 in these reactions was low.
