Abstract:
A linear correlation was found between specific catalytic activity in the coking process (using flowing 1,3-butadiene at
773 K) and the strengths of surface aprotic acid sites on γ-Al2O3 modified with various ions. The proportionality constant depends on the strength of the basic center of the acid-base pair.
