Abstract:
Aq. solution of Pd(II) reacted with PW11O397- to give Cs4NaPW10Pd(H2O,OH)O39.12H2O, (Et4N)4.4Na0.6PW11Pd(H2O,OH)O39.7H2O, (Me4N)4.6NaPW11PdCl0.6O39.7H2O, K3H2PW11Pd(H2O)O39.6H2O and K3.5H2.5PW11PdClO39.11H2O. In the anion Pd2+ is coordinated by 4 O atoms from the PW11 moiety and has a square pyramidal environment. The reaction products were characterized by IR and 17O, 183W and 19P NMR spectra. K6H7[KP2W20O72].35H2O was also formed.
