Abstract:
The nature of factors responsible for the structural stability of zeolites was studied by MINDO/3 method. An increase in the temperature stability of zeolites with Si/Al = const with a change of counterion in the row H+, Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+ was explained in terms of the proposed approach. Structural stabilities of zeolites and borolites (a part of Al atoms in the zeolite framework is substituted by B atoms) were compared.
