Abstract:
The lattice-gas model is used to describe the activated diffusion of particles coadsorbed on uniform surfaces. The diffusional fluxes driven by the concentration gradient of coadsorbed particles are calculated in the mean-field and quasi-chemical approximations. The effect of various lateral interactions on the dependence of the diffusion coefficients upon coverages is demonstrated.
