Abstract:
Recently reports have appeared [1-6] on the results of investigations of sulfidofiuortdes of the rare earth metals. This work gives the results of X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopic investigations of selenido- and telluridofluorides of neodymium.
Conclusions
1. Neodymium selenido- and telluridofluorides were synthesized for the first time.
2. NdSeF and NdTeF crystallize in the PbFCl structural type. The parameters of the unit cells and the interatomic distances in the synthesized samples were determined.
3. The IR spectra of neodymium selenido-and telluridofluorides were taken and interpreted.
