Abstract:
The reversibly adsorbed form of propylene on Cr2O3 was σ-bonded and had its C:C ir frequency around 1600 cm-1. It was desorbed at 200°. The irreversibly adsorbed form was present in far greater quantity, and the structures of some of the oxidation complexes were detected.
