Abstract:
Catalytic activity of MMn2O4 having M = Mg, Cd, Zn, Fe, Co, Ni, and Mn in decomposition of 2N H2O2 depends on the degree of catalyst-surface oxidation. The catalyst (CoMn2O4) having a max. concentration of surface O (5.1 atoms O/cm2 at pH 7.12) had the maximum catalytic activity.
