Abstract:
Oxidative dehydrogenation of 1-butene to butadiene over Fe and Bi molybdates was studied in a flow app. and by an impulse method; with both catalysts the reaction proceeded by a redox mechanism. Butene was stably adsorbed on Fe molybdate, which led to formation of products of deep oxidation; on Bi molybdate the adsorption was reversible, which increased the selectivity of butadiene formation.
