Abstract:
Electric conductivity and electron yields under adsorption of NO and N2O on electron-rich catalysts SnO2, TiO2, Fe2O3 and on electron-vacant catalyst NiO were measured. Adsorption of NO was influenced by temperatures and prepg. processes of the catalysts. N2O was adsorbed as an electron acceptor. Under adsorption of NO and N2O, formation of charged species NOads+, NOads-, N2Oads-, Oads- was found. Measuring cond. confirmed that redn. of NO with CO to N occurred on Fe2O3.
