Abstract:
During aging of Fe(III)-Cr(III) hydrogels, decomposition of the mixed aggregates based on Fe(III) and Cr(III) hydrogels took place by separation of primary polymeric particles of impurity components and followed by formation of mixtures of secondary crystals of hydroxide oxides (oxides) of Fe(III) and Cr(III). Growth of the secondary crystals occurs according to the mechanism of oriented growth without isomorphic substitution of Fe by Cr and vice versa.
