Abstract:
During the aging of Al(III)-Cr(III) hydrogels coprecipitated at 25 °C and pH 6.0 from their mother liquors, a mixture was formed of secondary crystals of solid solution of α-CrOOH containing 30 wt. % Al(III) and pure γ-AlOOH. The mechanism of the formation of such aged hydrogels is described.
