Abstract:
Katalytischer Konverter: Ein (Salen)eisen(iii)-Komplex (Salen*=asymmetrischer Bis(salicyliden)ethylendiamin-Ligand) eignet sich als Katalysatorsystem für die asymmetrische Oxidation von Arylsulfiden durch Iodosylbenzol (siehe Schema). Eine Iodosylbenzol(salen)eisen(iii)-Spezies wurde durch EPR- und NMR-Spektroskopie als aktive Zwischenstufe identifiziert. R=Aryl, R′=Alkyl.
