Abstract:
The formation of solid solution was observed in Ni-Mo oxide catalyst containing more Ni than the stoichiometric NiMoO4 compound. The Ni solubility region is within 1.1 to 1.20 Ni:Mo at. ratio. The catalyst samples prepared by coprecipitation of Ni(NO3)2 with NH4 paramolybdate (A., 1973) were heated at 480° prior to the x-ray diffraction study.
