Abstract:
The homogeneous complexes I and II had high activity and selectivity in ethylene oligomerization. I supported on SiO2 or Al2O3 had lower activity and selectivity compared to the homogeneous complex. At 35°, II supported on SiO2 showed remarkable selectivity (∼100%) and activity, but when the temp. increased to 70°, the activity and selectivity were reduced. The activity and selectivity of the Ni catalysts was increased with they were supported on SiO2 or Al2O3 modified with AlMe3 or Ti(CH2Ph)4.
