Abstract:
The most effective catalyst for dehydrogenation of olefin hydrocarbons in the manufacture of synthetic rubber monomers is a chromium- nickel- calcium phosphate catalyst (CNP). As model systems of CNP catalyst, the authors took the neutral Ca phosphate neutral nickel phosphate, Ca- Ni phosphate, and Ca- Cr phosphate (the percentage of nickel and chromium in the binary phosphates correspond to their content in the commercial catalyst). Study of the phase composition of the catalyst shows that is a single- phase system of a solid solution of Ni//2U and Cr//3U in the calcium phosphate lattice. The solid solution is formed in the freshly prepared catalyst during its activation and heating. The catalytic activity in dehydrogenation of butylenes to divinyl is determined by the state of the nickel ion in the crystal lattice, which has a marked effect on its catalytic properties.
