Abstract:
The article examines a method of theoretical evaluation of the energy of one of the fundamentally possible schemes for organizing a closed thermochemical cycle intended to transform solar energy into the energy of products of the endothermic catalytic reaction of steam conversion of methane. The calculations given show that the efficiency of transformation of the solar-radiation energy in the cycle can reach 50%.
