For the last two decades, a huge amount of work has been done on developing efficient systems for absorbing excessive heat. This activity was mainly addressed to conventional applications for accumulation and recovery of low-and middle temperature industrial heat wastes as well as for utilisation of renewable sources of thermal energy. Here we extend this approach to non-traditional application for fire protection and extinguishing.
