Abstract:
We suggest chemical process schemes (CPS) for a complex biomass conversion to produce methanol and energy. We have modeled these schemes and performed an exergy analysis of their efficiency. Results obtained show the surface isolines for specific productivity towards methanol, exergy efficiency and reduced turbine work. We have found the maxima of target functions within the range of technol. parameters studied. We also discuss the global problem of CPS optimization.
