Abstract:
The transport properties of polyphenyleneoxides (homo- and copolymers of 2,6-dimethylphenol and 2,6-diphenylphenol) with respect to light paraffins and olefins, O2, N2, Kr, and Xe were studied under steady-state and transient conditions. The intrinsic microporous structure of the polymers, investigated by sorption methods, was represented by the system of interconnected microvoids of the mol. dimensions (∼4 Å).
