Abstract:
The regularities of formation of porous structure and skeleton of the composites prepared by the deposition of pyrolytic carbon on the granules of technical carbon with different initial structure and dispersity are considered. The changes in specific surface and porosity are related to individual structural characteristics of the initial technical carbon, whereas the mechanical strength of the composite materials at high degrees of filling is mainly determined by residual porosity of the composite.
