Abstract:
The chemical and phase composition were detected of Ni-Al catalysts, precipitated by Na2CO3 dried at 110°, and sintered in N or H atm. at 330-850°. Mixed basic carbonates of Ni and Al form due to the precipitation. Sintering of the precipitates containing <70 wt. % Ni in N at 500° results in the formation of a single phase product, exhibiting a smooth change of the Ni-O-Al bond strength (IR spectra) with the change of its composition . The product containing ≥70% Ni contains NiO along with the homogeneous phase of the Al2O3 solid solution in NiO.
