Abstract:
The heats of atomically adsorbed O and N on Ru(0001) and Ru(101̅0) planes were calculated by the semiempirical bond interaction method. The calculations show that O is strongly adsorbed while mol. N cannot be chemisorbed on Ru.
Полуэмпирическим методом взаимодействующих связей рассчитаны теплоты атомарно-адсорбированных кислорода и азота на грани (000I) и (I0I0) рутения. На основании расчетов показано, что Ru должен обладать высокой адсорбционной способностью по отношению к кислороду, в то время как молекулярный азот на рутении не может хемосорбироваться.
