Abstract:
Processing of different hydrocarbon raw materials into unleaded high-octane gasolines over a zeolite catalyst, like IC-30 with pentasil structure, has been studied. Correlations have been found between the group hydrocarbon composition of the feed and the yield of gasoline with definite composition as well as between the hydrocarbon composition of reformer gasoline and its antiknock properties. It is possible to increase the octane numbers of light petroleum naphtha and gas condensate from 56-60 to 85-90 MON. The sulfur content of the reformer gasolines decreases to 0.1 weight%.
